Bidders Choice: Alaskan Coastal Black Bear Hunt or Sitka Deer, Duck, and Fur Combo for 1
Otto Kulm of Pacific Mountain Guides is back again this year with another fantastic Alaskan adventure.
Schedule hunting dates with the outfitter for a 7 day hunt in either Spring (Bear only) or Fall of 2011 or
2012. The hunt will be conducted in the Prince William Sound area of Alaska. Spring hunts include
excellent pot fishing for shrimp to add to the diverse menu on board. If a fall Bear hunt is planned you
may upgrade your hunt to include a Sitka Blacktail Deer for only $2,000 additional cost. Take a friend
along on this adventure at the published rates.
Instead of bear hunting, the successful bidder can opt for a unique hunt where a hardy hunter can
brave the elements to harvest the rare species of Deer, Ducks, and Furbearers available. Sitka Blacktail
Deer are a requirement for the North American 29 of Big Game, and the remote islands hold healthy
populations of this rare ungulate species. Common Sea Ducks & Divers include; Harlequin, Oldsquaw,
Surf Scoter, White Winged Scoter, Black Scoter, Common & Red Breasted Mergansers, Common &
Barrows Goldeneye, Bufflehead, & the occasional King Eider. These waterfowl are in full plumage and
make impressive mounts to say the least. Furbearers include; Wolf, Wolverine, Lynx, River Otter,
Marten, & Coyote. With a trapping license you can hunt furbearers with a gun and be prepared for any
opportunity afield. These are vessel based hunts, comfortably taking you to the middle of nowhere! The
point of arrival/departure is Valdez AK. Meals and lodging are included in this donation. License, tags,
and gratuity are extra. Additional persons can be added at the published rates. Be sure to stop by Otto’s
booth to thank him for this fantastic donation.
